Before and After
What is Stretch Mark Treatment
We use Carboxytherapy for the treatment of stretch marks. This procedure has been practiced in medicine since the1930s. It was made popular in France, where it was discovered that bathing in pools rich of carbon dioxide water helped speed up wound healing. Carboxytherapy is a very safe procedure as it uses naturally occurring carbon dioxide. It’s also quick, effective and affordable.
Carboxytherapy has massively grown in popularity since 1995 as part of a new wave of non-surgical rejuvenating treatments that target many common beauty problems. It can be used for both lipolysis (fat removal) and skin rejuvenation. Carboxytherapy improves skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, aids collagen repair and destroys localised fatty deposits. Once injected beneath the skin’s surface, it creates an area that the body recognises as oxygen deficit. The body responds by increasing the flow of blood to that area. The surge of oxygen and nutrients to the treated area results in cell restoration and improves skin appearance.
Clinical uses for carboxytherapy
Carboxytherapy is used for the treatment of dark under-eye circles, stretch-marks, cellulite reduction, and non-surgical fat sculpting on the face and the body.
Stretch Marks: Stretchmarks (striae distensae) occur when the skin is stretched to the point where the dermal collagen ruptures. Carboxytherapy causes the formation of new collagen and subsequently thickens the skin to improve the appearance of the stretchmarks by rebuilding the collagen matrix.
Cellulite & Fat Reduction: When injected via a specific technique, carbon dioxide gas is directly toxic to fat cells. The fat cells literally burst and are eliminated by the body.
Read some of the Patient Stories and find out how happy our patients are with their results.
Using a very fine needle, the area is injected with carbon dioxide a number of times. Most people see a result after the first treatment. More pronounced and long lasting results are seem after 4-12 treatments, by which the skin shows clear signs of healthy rejuvenation. A personalized treatment plan will be suggested for you at your free consultation with a specialist aesthetic Doctor.
There is no recovery time. The perfect lunch-hour procedure and will perfectly fits in your busy life style. Some people experience mild pain at the injection site and/or bruising.
