Carboxytherapy

Advanced treatment for dark under-eye circles, stretch-marks and cellulite

What is Carboxytherapy

Carbon Dioxide Therapy (CDT), also called carboxytherapy, has been practiced in medicine since the1930s. It was made popular in France, where it was discovered that bathing in pools rich of carbon dioxide water helped speed up wound healing. Carboxytherapy is a very safe procedure as it uses naturally occurring carbon dioxide. It’s also quick, effective and affordable.

Carboxytherapy has massively grown in popularity since 1995 as part of a new wave of non-surgical rejuvenating treatments that target many common beauty problems. It can be used for both lipolysis (fat removal) and skin rejuvenation. Carboxytherapy improves skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, aids collagen repair and destroys localised fatty deposits. Once injected beneath the skin’s surface, it creates an area that the body recognises as oxygen deficit. The body responds by increasing the flow of blood to that area. The surge of oxygen and nutrients to the treated area results in cell restoration and improves skin appearance.

Treatable Areas

Carboxytherapy is excellent for treating:
• Eye wrinkles, under-eye dark circles
• Face wrinkles
• Localised fat (arms, thighs, abdomen)
• Under chin fat
• Skin rejuvenation & tightening (face, neck, hands)
• Cellulite
• Stretch marks
• Scars
• Acne scars
• Hair loss

The Procedure

More pronounced and long lasting results are seem after 4-12 treatments, by which the skin shows clear signs of healthy rejuvenation.
